The Sonr Network Encryption Standards
The Sonr Wallet App requires 3 separate pairs of keys to interact with the Network. An Account Key, Link Key, and Group Key.

Account Key

This key is the master key for unlocking your SName. Users receive standard BIP44 seed phrases which are used to restore/register SName's within the Wallet app. Motor Nodes use the Account Private Key to sign all communication between peers, with Highway Nodes periodically validating that peers are who they claim they are.
The link key is an ephemeral key derived from the Account Key that enables multiple devices to be linked to the same SName while also enforcing a secure connection.

Group Key

The Group Key is a multi-signature key derived from the Account Key that facilitates DApps and Sonr Pub/Sub channels that operate in groups of peers - enabling secure real-time communication amongst a set of peers.
